This course will introduce clients to CQB (Close Quarters Battle) and other structure oriented combat from a self defense individual and small team mindset.
This Tactical course is unique in that some of the scenarios will incorporate a post societal collapse environment.
This course primarily focuses on known hostile threats and engagements. It incorporates numerous structurally challenging scenarios designed to provide the client a wide variety of training challenges.
A few areas covered during this event are:
-Structural Clearing Drills
-Force on Force Scenario Based engagements
-Team/Group Clearing Drills
The course is designed to build on shooters established, basic to intermediate level combat pistol shooting ability and provide dynamic, scenario based, immediate feedback centered training in the CQB environment. Drills will be run both dry (non-firing) and Hot (firing) to facilitate training and employment of the techniques covered. The dry fire drills may be run with a pistol or rifle, however all Force on Force engagements in this course will utilize pistols.
There will be a basic skill refresher with live fire on a standard shooting range followed by SBT modules where Clients are put into fluid situations using replica/projectile firing handguns. This is conducted as a convenience to the client prior to the course and is optional. It is recommended as it allows the cadre to potentially identify any potential deficiencies prior to the actual force on force event.
WARNING: This is a mentally and physically challenging course! We use a great deal of Interjected Role Play (IJRP), Scenario Based Training (SBT) evolutions and a variety of replica weapons and firearms, some of which fire paintball style projectiles. Clients will likely be stuck by these projectiles during this course. Instructors will portray Aggressor Characters and while in-role may handle Clients roughly to mimic real world Threats.
